Statement Under both the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657) and the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015
Wabtec's General Code of Conduct specifically stresses adherence to applicable laws involving human rights such as child labor, forced labor, slavery, and human trafficking; any violations will be treated in accordance with the Code. At least once a year, Wabtec includes training on compliance with human trafficking and slavery laws and regulations as part of its monthly meeting of Purchasing Managers. Wabtec does not currently audit its suppliers for compliance with human trafficking or slavery laws or conduct verification of the product supply chain related to human trafficking or slavery laws. Wabtec's standard terms of purchase state that Wabtec's vendors will comply with all applicable laws, including laws involving human rights such as child labor, forced labor, slavery, and human trafficking.
