Wabtec is the market-leading producer of shore-to-ship cable management systems (CMS) for onshore power supply solutions (OPS). ShoreCONNECT is the interface between the harbor’s power-supply architecture, such as a local substation, and any kind of vessel, including cruise, container, OSV, PSV, ferries, RoPax, RoRo, car and bulk carriers. It is also the interface between land-side junction box and ship-side socket. According to local requirements, our CMS solutions can relocate along the quay and is available as either a mobile or stationary applications. Wabtec’s solutions compensate tidal range and are safely protected against flooding.
For special purposes, we offer reliable high and low voltage solutions (e. g. FerryCHARGER) for automatic connection in just a few seconds.
