Full “STEAM” Ahead: The Thomas & Friends Experience

All aboard for adventure! A new exhibition is now open at the National Children’s Museum in Washington, D.C. that’s full STEAM ahead with fun and learning. Thomas & Friends™: Explore the Rails! will run through January 4, 2026.

This immersive experience is sponsored by Wabtec, BNSF Railway, CSX, Norfolk Southern, and Union Pacific. It lets kids learn about the rail industry, engineering, and innovation through hands-on STEAM activities.
