PITTSBURGH, July 30, 2024 - Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) today announced an order for Evolution Series ES43ACmi locomotives from SimFer, a joint venture among the Government of the Republic of Guinea, Rio Tinto, and Chalco Iron Ore Holdings (CIOH). The order, valued at $277 million, will provide a locomotive fleet to service the rail operations for the Simandou high-grade iron ore project, located in the east of Guinea.

GOOTY, Andhra Pradesh, July 25, 2024 — Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) and Indian Railways celebrated the start of locomotive service operations at the Gooty Maintenance Shed in Andhra Pradesh, India. The shed expands Wabtec’s locomotive service capabilities in the southern part of the country and marks a new service model in India by leveraging existing Indian Railways infrastructure and staff.

PITTSBURGH, July 24, 2024 – Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) today reported second quarter 2024 GAAP earnings per diluted share of $1.64, up 54.7% versus the second quarter of 2023. Adjusted earnings per diluted share were $1.96, up 39.0% versus the same quarter a year ago. Second quarter sales were $2.64 billion and cash from operations was $235 million.

SÃO LUÍS (MA), Jun 4, 2024 - Vale and Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) announced today a master service agreement (MSA) to further increase the efficiency and operations of the Evolution Series (EVO) locomotive fleet on the Estrada de Ferro Carajás (EFC). The strategic 10-year deal, valued at R$1.8 billion, will optimize the maintenance services for Vale’s fleet increasing performance, reliability, and the potential for expanded freight transport on the EFC connecting the southeast of Pará to the capital of Maranhão, São Luís.

ROHTAK, Haryana, May 20, 2024 — Today, Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) inaugurated its new manufacturing campus in Rohtak, India. The new plant represents a $18 million (Rs. 150 crore) investment and will initially manufacture transit rail components and subsystems followed by other Wabtec product lines in the coming years.
