277 Series - Sand Trap with Rotary Shut-Off

The industry standard for uniform sanding to enhance locomotive traction. Designed with a unique adjustment feature that determines the amount of sand delivered to the point of contact between the rail and wheel interface which helps to prevent costly sand waste.

• Use an Allen wrench to adjust the integral paddle, sand delivery can be adjusted from a "LO" setting to position "three" without breaking any pipe connection
• Integral Shut-Off permits the sand trap and controller to be removed without draining all the sand from the sandbox
• The T-handle wrench provided in the quick flange allows the sanding hose to be disconnected with ease
• Fixed delivery traps are available upon request
