PITTSBURGH, Sept. 23, 2026 - MRS Logística has taken another decisive step toward fulfilling its modernization and sustainability commitments by signing an agreement worth approximately US$254 million (R$1.3 billion) with Wabtec. The investment, which will be made in phases through 2032, includes the acquisition of new advanced-technology locomotives, spare parts and specialized maintenance services.

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 21, 2026 – Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) today announced a more than $700 million long-term services agreement with La Compagnie du TransGuinéen (CTG) to support its fleet of new Evolution Series locomotives. The agreement is Wabtec's largest services contract in Africa and combined with the 2024 locomotive orders brings its total value to more than $1.2 billion for the Simandou project.

ATLANTA and PITTSBURGH, Aug. 26, 2026 — Norfolk Southern Corporation (NYSE: NSC) and Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) today announced an expanded program to modernize 33 DC-traction Evolution Series locomotives for the railroad. As part of Norfolk Southern's fleet modernization strategy, the initiative will convert the units to AC-traction technology to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Vale is advancing its innovation and logistics efficiency strategy through the adoption of an advanced operational safety system for its railway transportation network. The company has announced an agreement with Wabtec (NYSE: WAB) to implement the Positive Train Control (PTC) solution, elevating operational safety standards on the Carajás Railway (EFC) and the Vitória a Minas Railway (EFVM).

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – February 9, 2026 – CSX (NASDAQ: CSX) today announced that it has signed a $670 million deal with Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) to upgrade its fleet with 100 new Evolution Series locomotives, 50 modernized locomotives, and a suite of digital solutions and services.

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 7, 2026 – Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) secured a $386 million follow-on order to deliver additional R255 hybrid battery-diesel work locomotives to New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). The order is a major step in the Authority’s Capital Plan to revitalize the city’s transit network infrastructure and improve the capabilities and safety of its maintenance crews.

Vale and locomotive manufacturer Wabtec Corporation [NYSE: WAB] have announced a partnership to study a dual-fuel engine capable of running on both diesel and a diesel-ethanol blend. The studies will initially be conducted in laboratories to validate the concept and evaluate performance, emissions reduction, and ethanol/diesel substitution rate. The tests are expected to run through 2027 to assess future application in the Vitória-Minas Railway (EFVM) fleet.

PITTSBURGH, September 22, 2025 — Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) announced today a landmark agreement with National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ), the national railway of Kazakhstan, to deliver Evolution Series locomotives and provide long-term service support. The multi-year order, valued at $4.2 billion, marks the largest locomotive agreement in Wabtec’s history.

MARHOWRA, India May 26, 2025 — Wabtec Corporation and Rio Tinto SimFer, a joint venture among the Government of the Republic of Guinea, Rio Tinto, and Chalco Iron Ore Holdings (CIOH), celebrated today the unveiling of the first Evolution Series ES43ACi locomotive for TransGuinéen Railway. It is part of SimFer’s 2024 locomotive order to support the rail operations for the Simandou high-grade iron ore project, located in the Southeast of Guinea and is Africa’s largest mining and infrastructure development project.

Vale announced an agreement with Wabtec Corporation (NYSE:WAB) to acquire 50 new Evolution Series Locomotives for Vitória a Minas Railroad (EFVM) and Carajás Railroad (EFC). The order is a major step in Vale’s fleet modernization initiative and decarbonization program to improve the efficiency and reduce emission of its rail operations. Wabtec will manufacture the locomotives at its plant in Contagem, Brazil with deliveries starting in 2026.

PITTSBURGH, JANUARY 28, 2025 - Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) today announced a US$248 million order for Evolution Series ES43ACmi locomotives and services from Winning Consortium Simandou (WCS, a Baowu & Winning joint venture) to support their rail operations at the high-grade iron ore project, located in the east of Guinea. The agreement follows a locomotive order a few months earlier from SimFer (a Rio Tinto joint venture) to serve its operations at Simandou. The combined orders for the project, valued at more than half a billion, represent one of Wabtec’s largest international locomotive agreements in the past five years.

The new additions to the maintenance fleet will reduce diesel emissions by using battery power while conducting work in the tunnels
