PITTSBURGH, Feb. 13, 2024 — Wabtec Corp. (NYSE: WAB) and CSX Corp. (NASDAQ: CSX) signed a deal for over 200 locomotive modernizations featuring a suite of digital solutions, innovations, and services. The agreement will transform the remaining AC4400 locomotives in CSX’s fleet providing improved fuel efficiency, reliability, utilization, and tractive effort.

MONTREAL and PITTSBURGH, July 26, 2023 – CN (TSX: CNR) (NYSE: CNI) and Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) announced an order to enhance an additional 60 locomotives in CN’s existing fleet through Wabtec’s modernization program. The investment supports CN’s commitment to drive growth in a sustainable manner and build success for customers, employees and communities.

PITTSBURGH, July 10, 2023 — Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) entered into a multi-year parts agreement with PT Imeco Inter Sarana (PT IMECO) that will support PT Kereta Api Indonesia’s (PT KAI) 150 locomotive fleet. The $190 million dollar agreement provides service kits and training to PT KAI for efficient maintenance of its locomotive fleet in the region. This technical support allows PT KAI to focus on the improvement and expansion of their passenger and freight movement service.

PITTSBURGH, June 27, 2023 — Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) announced today its largest certified pre-owned locomotive order from six Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (G&W) subsidiaries – Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad; Chicago, Ft. Wayne & Eastern Railroad; Connecticut Southern Railroad; Indiana & Ohio Railway; New England Central Railroad and Providence and Worcester Railroad.

PITTSBURGH, May 17, 2023 — Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) signed a deal to modernize 25 Mk3 Battery-Electric Locomotives for Hong Kong-based MTR Corporation. The order, valued at approximately £12 million, will extend the service life of the fleet, improve performance, and reliability.

Wabtec Corporation has announced an agreement to modernise locomotives for Fortescue Metals Group (Fortescue), representing Wabtec’s delivery of the first fleet of modernised locomotives for an Australian customer.

Wabtec Corporation announced today an additional multi-year order from Norfolk Southern (NYSE: NSC) to modernize 330 locomotives as part of its continued partnership. The deal is part of Norfolk Southern’s ongoing efforts to further improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions from its fleet.

Wabtec and BNSF Railway are partnering to advance sustainability in the rail industry with a new biofuel project aimed at quantifying the impact of alternative fuels on emissions, durability, and performance in Wabtec locomotives.

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 8, 2021 — Wabtec (NYSE: WAB) signed today contracts with Egyptian National Railways (ENR) to supply 100 ES30ACi Evolution Series Locomotives, as well as a multi-year service agreement to maintain the fleet. The agreement supports ENR’s continued modernization effort by providing the latest, fuel-efficient locomotives needed for the growing demands on Egypt’s rail infrastructure. The locomotive supply contract is funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

CSX Corporation (NASDAQ: CSX) and Wabtec (NYSE: WAB) are partnering to accelerate sustainable rail by modernizing locomotives across CSX’s fleet and implementing advanced digital technologies to deliver significant fuel efficiency and emissions reductions for CSX’s rail operations. The partnership will help CSX in their commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 37 percent by 2030.
