Growing a Diverse Talent Pipeline

Our Partners

In support of roles across all levels in the organization, we are growing a diverse talent pipeline through our partnerships with professional associations, colleges, universities, and technology schools. We’re also expanding our internship pipeline and programs. Our aim is to enhance diversity at mid- and senior-level positions, and our collaborations and partnerships will contribute to the growth of the talent pool across all levels. To achieve this goal, we will leverage our critical partnership with Talent Acquisition to grow outreach efforts and establishing diverse pipelines. These initiatives will have a positive impact on workforce demographics worldwide.

Employee Resource Groups

Fostering a workplace where employees treat each other with respect and dignity.

Our global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are led and managed by Wabtec employees. These committed employees work to foster a workplace where employees treat each other with respect and dignity, where diverse perspectives are sought after, and where everyone feels safe. Our ERGs support a strong sense of community for members and focus on attracting, promoting, retaining, and developing ERG participants.

These groups play an active role in personal and professional development across all phases of an employee’s career and provide a forum to build strong relationships and allies through networking, learning, and support. ERGs hold events with company leadership, manage formal mentoring programs, sponsor career training geared toward their members, and play a role in giving back to the communities where we work and serve. 

Our ERGs are open to all employees, whether they identify with an affinity group or as allies and represent a wide range of differences within our organization.
